Eye-Catching New Beauty Releases
There are lots of new beauty products on the block that have been released over the last few weeks just in time for the summer. The focus for many of these products is on healthy, glowing skin, sun protection, and COLOR! Here are some of the best new releases in beauty.
Some new fragrances have recently been released by a few popular brands that embrace the warmth of the season. Kayali’s pistachio gelato-scented fragrance has been all the rage across social media platforms since its release. The notes create a sugary sweet blend that reminds you of ice cream and cotton candy at the fair. They include Pistachio Gelato, Hazelnut, Sweet Rum, Cotton Candy, Whipped Cream, and Marshmallow. Tom Ford on the other hand has put out a warm and spicy scent within the last several weeks called Soleil De Feu which boasts notes of Tuberose, Sandalwood, and Benzoin for an amber woody fragrance.
When it comes to skincare, Fenty Beauty as a brand has been doing great things over the past year. Some of its newest products include an AHA-powered body sugar scrub with fruit enzymes to help brighten the skin on the body along with an accompanying superfine face scrub with Barbados cherry extract to help visibly brighten, smooth, and refine pores. For moisture, Fenty Beauty has also released a hand cream with SPF and a lip mask for intensive overnight recovery. Another new skincare release comes from Pat McGrath who is best known for her amazing makeup products (some of which I’ll be mentioning later in this post). The brand recently released a Skincare Essence containing a Rose-Biotic complex that helps to calm and rebalance, and floral antioxidants help provide protective benefits against environmental aggressors. The botanically-derived oils that the essence contains help nourish and restore moisture levels to soften, smooth, and plump the look and feel of skin.
This season has been all about soft, skin-like makeup that won’t melt off in the heat. With that, a lot of popular makeup brands have focused on giving us quality serum and cream products such as skin tints, blushes, and lip stains. Danessa Myricks Yummy Skin range recently added a serum skin tint in a wide array of shades for the perfect skin-like finish. Summer Fridays, Refy, and Pat McGrath Labs have all given us cream blush sticks that can double as lip stains as well.
Altogether, I think that these brands have released some quality products that will keep us looking and smelling amazing all season long.
