Fun-Sized Handbags You Need To See
Have you noticed that handbags are getting smaller and smaller? The micro and nano bag trend has exploded over the last couple of years and the fashion girls love them, even though they are only made to fit lint and air…and maybe lip gloss and a stick of gum. But who needs functionality when you can have FASHION?! These brands are making some of the most desirable fun-sized bags available for purchase right now.
Lanvin is having a major moment with the cat bag design. Their Black Nano Cat Bag is right on the border of functional and high fashion because I’m pretty sure it could also hold a phone along with some other essentials.
The Chiquito was everywhere 2-3 years ago and since then, Jacquemus has solidified its presence as a major brand to watch for its handbags and ready-to-wear clothing. Along with the classic Le Chiquito bag, Jacquemus also has Le Petit Bambino, a micro version of their classic Bambino silhouette in several fun colors for the spring and summer.
Another up-and-coming brand that started out with handbags and has since expanded to eyewear, shoes, and swimwear is Brandon Blackwood. The brand is also very well known for the Kendrick Trunk in full and mini sizes and this metallic orange version screams hot girl summer.
Fendi has some of my favorite options for micro and nano bags. The one that is still on my wishlist is the Fendigraphy Nano Charm Bag and it actually holds more than you would think! Now the Fendi First Nano Charm Bag is a different story: very impractical but has the ability to elevate every look. The Fendigraphy Wallet on Chain holds quite a bit more and this black version is perfect for an evening out.
Loewe is one of those brands where the girls that get it, get it. Their pieces are unique enough to easily be identified and the material and construction are unmatched. This raffia bucket bag is on the cusp of regular and fun-sized but it is so perfect for resort wear and spring/summer adventures that I had to include it. And let’s talk about their puzzle bags: ICONIC! This multi-colored version is SO GOOD! A great pop of print and color to liven up a monochromatic look.
The house of Saint Laurent rarely misses when it comes to handbags. Always classy and chic, highly recommend having at least one YSL bag in your handbag collection. The Nano Bucket Crossbody is a great day-to-night bag and the Nano Gaby Shoulder Bag is that classic YSL bag everyone needs.
