SHELBY MALAIKA LUKE, 24, PARIS @sm.luke Summer for me means bike rides, swimming, picnics, long walks, driving with the roof down in Mum’s VW Beetle and beach days. I grew up on the south coast of Cornwall, so nothing beats a day spent at a secluded beach that only the locals know about, with plenty of cold drinks and homemade treats. As soon as the sun arrives, watermelon must be eaten with every meal – breakfast, lunch and dinner. That’s three of my five a day, right? I recently wore my GANNI piece on a work trip to Paris. I styled the dress with my most cherished pair of flats and GANNI girl favourite, the buckle ballerinas. The print is special to me, because seashells remind me of my childhood when I desperately wanted a nickname; since Shelby is quite hard to abbreviate, I decided on Shell. It didn't stick but I'm pretty sure that was a blessing. Being a GANNI girl encapsulates so much. It means to think outside the box, channel creativity and spread positivity. It's all about creating a community free from prejudice, hate and judgement, and that's the beautiful thing.
RACHEL EVERITT, 30, LONDON @racheleveritt_ This summer, I’m going on holiday to Sicily, which is known for its rocky coves, beautiful architecture and, well, pasta. In the meantime, I will be making the most of all the amazing swimming spots in Copenhagen. I’ve just relocated here and I can’t wait to check out Islands Brygge, which is the go-to swimming spot for locals. I’m also planning on doing plenty of thrift shopping at Time's Up Vintage, which I’m told is the perfect place for finding second-hand gems. I wore my GANNI piece to London Fields Lido, which is my favourite place to hang out when it’s warm in the city. Close your eyes, soak up the sun and it almost feels like you’re abroad. The print is super cute and summery but also subtle. I styled the co-ord with some sunnies and sandals for an easy poolside look. A perfect day for me is spent by the pool, reading my book and eating snacks, especially ice cream. I always carry plenty of water in my bag, plus SPF and tinted moisturiser, which I can’t live without. It feels much lighter than wearing foundation, so it’s my go-to product on warm days.
LAURA KLEIN, 29, IBIZA @lauraelizabethklein This summer, I’m hanging out at my mum’s house in Brighton, and I’ll also be doing plenty of trips to the pub and park. After all, this time of year is all about being with friends and family, eating good food and holidays. I loved wearing the GANNI dress at one of my favourite hangouts in Ibiza, Hostal La Torre. If you’re visiting this year, make sure you head there for the best sunsets on the island. I styled the piece with Gucci clogs and a GANNI crochet hat, for a summery vibe that’s perfect for a holiday. The print reminds me of my hometown, Brighton, because of the seashell patterns. I used to collect shells as a child, so it feels very nostalgic. Even now, my favourite way to spend a summer's day is by the sea with the people closest to me. At the moment, I never leave home without sunglasses, sun cream and a fan. My favoruite SPF has to be the one by Supergoop! – it's a weightless, scentless formula that's great on all skin types and tones.
