Q&A with Chanda
What prompted your love of fashion?
CJ: As a toddler, I would search for the closest pair of heels I could get my hands on and try my best to walk around in them. I always knew fashion would be a big part of my life and I now have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Retailing and Consumer Science from the University of Houston.
How would you describe your style in three words?
CJ: Chic, polished, and on-trend.
Who are your favorite designers?
CJ: Bianca Saunders and Rick Owens both bring artistry to what they do. There are more brands I love, too, but their specific take on innovation is topping my list right now.
What is your favorite thing about being a personal stylist?
CJ: Sharing my love of fashion and helping others enhance their wardrobe with new pieces. Most of my clients are NFL, NBA, and MLB players, but I also work in luxury retail for all genders. I create on-trend looks that work with an individual's unique personality.
What is the best fashion advice you've received or would like to pass on to others?
CJ: Always wear clothes that reflect your personality and style, instead of letting them define you. Fashion is a means of self-expression, so embrace it.
