For this week's influencer spotlight, Ashlei, or Posh Ash as she is fondly known, takes center stage. Q&A with Posh Ash
Do you remember when you first knew you loved fashion?
AP: Yes! I had to wear uniforms from elementary school through high school and Even though I got in trouble for hemming my skirt a bit too short, I continued to find ways to make mine stand out from everyone else's. Later, I would be the go-to person for family and friends who needed styling advice. Since I loved shopping for other people and styling them even more than for myself, I opened a boutique. In a short time, I sold out of my first stock and became the go-to person for unique fashion in my area.
Describe your style in three words.
AP: Minimalistic, classy and sexy.
Who are your favorite designers and why?
AP: I love Jacquemus for its minimalist yet edgy style. I can’t think of a single thing from the brand that I don't love. Simple clothes often make a big impact, and Jacquemus does that so well. Andrea Iyamah is my go-to for lasting vacation pieces that stand out from the crowd the designer really understands what modern women want to wear. she always delivers high-quality resort wear.
What type of looks do you create for your followers?
AP: I create looks for the modern millennial. She's probably juggling her career, home, spouse, and kids and feels out of touch with what's trendy. She might still wear "skinny jeans and a nice top" to every event. Without trying too hard, I show her how to dress for today.

AP: Don’t dismiss a piece you love because of sizing. rather, take it to a tailor and have it customized. I often tailor my outfits to my exact measurements, and end up loving how they look. Having pieces that are professionally tailored gives my wardrobe a polished and professional look.
