ModeSens Metrics: Top 5 Brands This Week
With summer in full swing, it’s no surprise to see dresses, flowy tops, and sneakers dominate the top-selling products of the week by some of the most popular brands on ModeSens. New to our list this week was Parisian brand, Mugler, who cracked our top 5 for the first time. While others like Zimmermann featured yet again, solidifying themselves as weekly staples.
Here are the top 5 selling brands on ModeSens this week. This week’s list will include some of the most popular pieces from each brand, so our ModeSens community can stay updated on the latest trends and seasonal must-haves this summer.
Top Selling Women Brands of the Week: Zimmermann Continues Weekly Dominance
According to our data, Zimmermann comfortably secured the top spot on this week’s list, outselling our second-highest-selling brand by nearly $10,000. The Australian-based brand has continued to dominate our weekly lists, but this week marks the first time Zimmermann has secured the top spot this season.
Popular Zimmermann products this past week include floral blouses, wide-leg trousers, silk dresses, and jumpsuits — all outfitted in the brand’s iconic floral, geometric, and multi-patterned designs.
If you’re looking to secure this season’s most coveted essentials, consider investing in Zimmermann.
Jacquemus
Like Zimmermann, Jacquemus continues to dominate our weekly sales report. Sitting second on our list, Jacquemus also boasts the lowest average spend per purchase this week, right under $300 per order.
This solidifies Jacquemus as the most affordable brand in our top 10 selling brands week over week, a likely driver of the brand’s success alongside diverse product offerings like dresses, blazers, and handbags. Our data indicates that Jacquemus handbags consistently dominate our weekly bags list, taking the top spot every week.
Jacquemus’ growing influence and popularity across all of its products — not just clothing — is a key ingredient to its success week in and week out.
Mugler
On the opposite side of the design spectrum from Zimmermann is Mugler — a Parisian brand emphasizing strict tailoring, sleek designs, and a monochromatic palette. The brand has a directional feel that appeals to the Rick Owens shopper with a gala to attend.
This is the first time Mugler has appeared on our weekly list, but the brand’s popularity didn’t come out of nowhere. According to our data, Mugler has consistently ranked in the top 20 weekly-selling brands for the better part of 2023. This week’s rise in sales from Mugler can be attributed to a rise in sales across our partnered retailers.
At the time of publishing, Mugler’s most popular silhouettes — blazers, asymmetric dresses, and skirts — can be purchased for up to 60% off.
Alexander McQueen
Alexander McQueen is no stranger to our weekly top-selling brands. This week, McQueen ranked fourth with an average purchase price of $1,600, the highest on this list. Despite the elevated spend-per-purchase, Alexander McQueen dresses, in particular, dominate sales.
Currently, ModeSens partners are running some sales with the brand, and ModeSens users can find an array of products up to 50% off.
Versace
Joining our weekly list is Versace. A regular in our top ten, the heritage house continues to grow in popularity week after week. ModeSens customers saved big on Versace this week, right behind Jacquemus when comparing average purchase price per user.
Just in time for vacation season, Versace swimwear proved a hit this past week on ModeSens. Popular products included one-piece swimsuits, Medusa print bikini tops, and all-over logo print bottoms.
Top Selling Brands for Men — Nike & Rick Owens Dominate
Rick Owens’ popularity continues to make impressive strides, consistently ranking high in our weekly lists. This week, Rick Owens ranked first for top-selling brands for men. Nike was right behind Rick Owens but arguably more popular with customers this week. According to our data, Nike secured more orders than Rick Owens. However, with only an average sale price of $93, overall sales numbers trailed Rick Owens by more than $3,000.
