While summer officially starts this week, ModeSens customers have been preparing for the season’s wardrobe change for months. Our weekly top-selling brands are dominated by those delivering products which cater to the season. This week, ModeSens customers spent (and saved) big on dresses, sneakers, sandals, blazers, and skirts from some of the most popular designers in the world.

In conjunction with some newcomers to our list, this week’s top-selling brands include some surprise names. Here are the best-performing fashion brands and products this week on ModeSens, kicking off summer with a bang.

Oscar De La Renta Tops ModeSens Weekly Sales

While newcomers to our top 5 brands of the week come and go, there perhaps isn’t a more meteoric rise than Oscar De La Renta. According to our data, while the brand has frequently hovered on the periphery of our top 20 brands, it has never before reached the height it is now experiencing on ModeSens.

Originally from the Dominican Republic, the late Oscar De La Renta was one of America’s most revered designers, known for stunning dresses, suits, and evening wear for women. Throughout his career, De La Renta dressed some of the biggest socialites and celebrities, including Amy Adams, Jacqueline Kennedy, Nancy Reagan, Penélope Cruz, and many more.

Today, his legacy continues with Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia of Monse now helming the brand. According to our data, popular silhouettes from the brand include floral-printed long dresses, suits, skirts, and accessories like gold heart earrings.

Saint Laurent

Saint Laurent is no stranger to our top-selling list, consistently ranking in the top 10 week after week. This week, Saint Laurent finished second on our list behind Oscar De La Renta. ModeSens members spent an average of $1,300 per purchase on Saint Laurent this week.

Popular products indicate a shift to summer essentials for customers. Saint Laurent heels, sandals, loafers, and skirts dominated our week's sales, with hoodies and light outerwear trailing behind.

Valentino

For generations, Valentino has exemplified class and sleek tailoring with every design. This week marks the first time the heritage house is HAS featured on our top sales list. The brand is a continuous hit with fans, typically hovering within our top 20 brands of the week.

In a similar fashion to other names on this list, Valentino skirts, dresses, and blazers dominated sales this week. On average, customers spent over $2,000 per sale, making it one of the most expensive and exclusive brands on this list.

Zimmermann

It wouldn’t be a weekly top-selling brand list without giving a shoutout to Zimmermann. Last week, the Australian-based fashion house was our top-selling brand of the week, a testament to Zimmermann’s consistent and dedicated fanbase.

This week, Zimmermann ranked 4th on our list but was the most affordable brand. On average, Zimmermann customers spent just under $700 per purchase. For perspective, the average Oscar De La Renta purchase was almost $4,000.

Balmain

Balmain’s designs often share space with the stunning and elegant silhouettes of Dior, Saint Laurent, and Gucci. While Balmain is a newcomer to our weekly list, the brand has captivated the minds of designers and fashion enthusiasts for generations.

Designs like monogram long-sleeve dresses, cardigans, and mini dresses dominated sales. Balmain customers on ModeSens spent an average of $800 per purchase, right behind Zimmermann in this category.

Top Selling Men’s Brands This Week

Feeling deja vu? Rhude, Amiri, Fear of God Essentials, and Casablanca are the four returning top-selling men’s brands of the week. Like last week, Essentials remains the most affordable brand across our entire list, with the average ModeSens customer spending less than $60 per order.

Amiri and Rhude continue to dominate our weekly sales, never dropping below the top three brands. New to our list, however, is Ami Alexandre. The high-end streetwear label made a name for itself by blending elements of luxury and street culture, with influences from skate brands like Vans, Supreme, and Palace.

Popular products include Ami Alexandre sneakers, cropped denim trousers, camp-collar buttondown shirts (perfect for the summer), and polos.
