Pre Fall Wardrobe Staples You Need Now
How is it August already?! I can’t believe how fast the summer has gone by, and Pre Fall fashion trends are already here! If you’re prepping your wardrobe for late summer vacations, apple-picking trips, and cool temps, here’s what you need to be shopping now…
Romantic fall florals that are still light enough for those last summer days are a hit this year, and one of my favorite ways to wear this trend is through cottage-core-inspired dresses! Cottagecore is all about that vintage sweetness and femininity, and nothing is more versatile for fall than a slip dress! You can wear it on its own for still-warm afternoons, but layer up sweaters or denim jackets for chilly evenings.
Plus, a floral slip dress can take you anywhere in terms of styling. From end-of-the-season weddings to casual dinner dates, they’re wardrobe must-haves! I’m personally a huge fan of coordinating sets because they give you a lot of outfit possibilities for the cost: wear the top on its own, wear the bottoms on their own, or wear them together! You can mix and match two-piece sets with just about anything, which is especially helpful if you’re packing a capsule wardrobe for an upcoming trip or if you’re looking to streamline your closet. Trending in two-piece sets are linen fabrics, earthy tones, and comfortable pants.
You’ll want something mellow enough for the upcoming fall season, but still light and playful enough for the rest of summer.
