Spring & Summer Date Looks
It’s that time of year again when we all emerge from hibernation and start planning outings and hangouts. Then we go to our closets and after looking around, come to the conclusion that we have nothing to wear! Well, have no fear, if you’re trying to figure out what to wear for those spring & summer dates, I’ve got you covered. Whether it’s a first date with a new love interest or an outing with the girls, here are some ideas for a few of possible upcoming spring/summer date scenarios.
WINERY
When I think “winery” I always go straight to long and flowy maxi dresses. And you can be as fancy as you want depending on the location. These options from Raisa Vanessa and Armani are gorgeous.
MUSEUM DATE
For a museum, a playsuit or jumpsuit is flirty yet fun. And it definitely can easily transition from day to night so that wherever the date takes you, you will look amazing. Zimmerman has some great options this season along with Dries Van Noten and Brunello Cucinelli.
YACHT DAY
Yacht Day equals some resort wear and a fire bikini. Jacquemus has some bold bright color palettes for their spring/summer collection that I absolutely adore.
And we can’t forget about the bikini! You can never go wrong with a Fendi monogram bikini and this black Gucci number is an instant classic.
BRUNCH WITH THE GIRLS
Whether you want to keep it laid back or show out, brunch with your girls (or guys!) is a place to have fun with your wardrobe.
Let’s start with this Bronx & Banco number because it is just iconic.
This would be a perfect place to rock the denim trend that is taking over for the 99s and 2000s this season or a cute blazer dress or playsuit.
CONCERT
In particular, I’m thinking of a date to see a certain major Pop and R&B star who is embarking on a huge stadium tour set to begin VERY soon: Beyonce’s Renaissance Tour. In keeping with the theme of the Renaissance era, I envision lots of metallics, sparkle, fringe, and overall extraness. Paco Robane has metallic chainmail tops on lock with an array of colors and styles.
Prada, Retrofete, and Rosantica have some lovely options as well. Paired with a pair of complementary shorts and a thigh-high boot would be perfect for the Bey concert in any city. Of course, many of these looks are interchangeable for various occasions and that’s my favorite thing about shopping intentionally: you can definitely get the most bang for your buck all season long.
