Founded in 2002, partners Gildas Loaec and Masaya Kuroki created Kitsuné clothing, blending their admiration for underground music, Japanese street style, and the natural energy of the French fashion industry. In 2005, Kitsuné launched a ready-to-wear line, Maison Kitsuné, further affirming the brand’s maverick status with cool, conceptual pieces. Today, Maison Kitsuné attracts fans across the globe with its original designs and collaborations with time-tested and emerging avant-garde designers alike, including A.P.C., Colette, and Pierre Hardy.
