Margaret Howell began her career when, by chance, she found a beautiful vintage shirt and decided to produce her own clothing range. The rest, as they say, is history. Margaret designs clothes that are interesting in their structure, feel and functionality. As the good lady put it herself: “My design philosophy has always been simple. I like to make high quality clothing based on classic British traditions, but with a contemporary feel”.
