Some Ware is defined by its distinctive graphic and typography-based approach to clothes. Founded in L.A. by photo magazine mogul Brendan Fowler and art/design world veteran Cali Thornhill DeWitt, the label plays off its founders’ idiosyncratic, wide-ranging interests, using clothing to more deeply explore the processes of identity-making, reception, and temporality. Some Ware’s visual identity concentrates around strong, focused concepts, favoring capsule collections issued in small runs. Unique t-shirt styling makes use of ingenious placement of image and text for a thoroughly fresh impact.
