101 Copenhagen's 'Native' series is a study in hand-sculpture. The smart tableware collection celebrates the beauty of craftmanship and raw material in an array of minimalist pieces. Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of 'wabi-sabi' or individual imperfection, each piece possesses a unique spirit of its own. Undulating edges accentuate a handbuilt aesthetic, while a soft glaze recreates the essence of pre-fired clay. This set of two dessert plates is designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl, and is presented in a soothing, natural shade of birch.
