This stunning and impressive necklace creates a superb effect. The inky-coloured sapphire pastes are set-off beautifully by the diamond paste links. This necklace is a bit of a showstopper! In 1929 the Wall St. crash dealt a severe blow to the luxury trades, but the costume jewellery industry boomed and expanded throughout the Depression.
