Akua Objects was founded in 2022 in Copenhagen by Annika Zobel Agerled and Josefine Arthur with a vision to create glassware as poetic objects.Michele is Akua Objects' most Venetian inspired collection; introducing Italian carafes; vases and bowls with a poetic reference. Crafted strictly by hand by expert artisans; each object is a unique creation that upholds the ancient Murano tradition; a testament to the legacy of Michele’s family-run glass studio. Venetian glass has been produced in Venice; typically on the island of Murano since the 13th century. Today; Murano is well known for its production of ornate distinctive; and high-quality art glass.
