Akua Objects was founded in 2022 in Copenhagen by Annika Zobel Agerled and Josefine Arthur with a vision to create glassware as poetic objects.Inspired by the Middle Ages and Renaissance-era features; the glass bonbonnières are decorated with raspberry-shaped rosettes and the characteristic Forest Green colour of traditional Krautstrunk and Berkemeyer glass. Part of the Karl Collection;each bonbonnière is meticulously handmade following bohemian traditions; embodying the design of Akua with unique; poetic motifs that pay homage to the artistry of the Middle Ages and Renaissance.
