Alex Mill Editions are made in small batches with reclaimed materials. This button-down is reworked from our men's overstock - we gave it new life in collaboration with a New York City-based botanical dye artist, Maddie Provost (she dyes these pieces in the tiny kitchen of her apartment). Its rich shade is achieved by using madder root, one of the oldest botanical dyes in the world. Each varies in depth of color and tone due to the nature of our hand-done process, making each piece unique (splotches, streaks and spots are meant to be embraced!). Over time expect the color to develop a beautiful, lived-in patina. Only 13 of these were made, and sizes are limited due to our available stock. Unisex sizing: Men order your true size, women size down for a fitted look.Jia and Marco are styled with vintage denim sourced from Front General Store in Brooklyn, NY.Unisex sizing. Men: order your true size. Women: size down, or order your true size for a looser fit. Marco is 6'2" and Jia is 5'10". Both models are shown wearing a size M.100% cotton.
