The 'Antho' vase is composed of robust filaments of semi-transparent glass at different heights, fused in a rhythmic design. The vase joins a family of mouth-blown, free-hand shaped objects by Alexa Lixfeld, created for limited series and bespoke installations. A reddish amber surface reflects and aborbs the light in this transfixing centerpiece. Subtle marks in the glass, such as bubbling and planing, reflect the artisanal process that makes each vase unique.
