About the designer: Born in 1980, Alexandre Mattiussi studied at Duperré fashion design school in Paris, specializing in menswear design. Formerly working for Dior, Givenchy, Marc Jacobs, Mattiussi wanted to do a collection that he could really afford and wear. The designer launched his own brand in 2011: AMI. The brand’s name is composed of his initials and the last letter of his name, translated meaning ‘friend’. It is a proposition of real clothes for a real man”, explains the Mattiussi.
