Genetic Tales carpet collection designed by Andrea Branzi features 15 unique designs in three different sizes: 200x300, 200x200 and 100x200. Each carpet explores the connection between genetics and design, bridging mass production with the infinite diversity of humanity. Branzi reflects on the concept of human infinity by incorporating human faces into all the artworks within this collection. Andrea Branzi, after completing his Architecture studies in Florence, moved to Milan in ’73 where he still lives in and teaches as principal of Product design department at Politecnico University. From 1964 to 1974 he has been part of Archizoom Associates and later on co-founded Domus Academy, receiving the "Compasso D’Oro” Award for his lifetime carrier achievements in 1987. He’s author of several books about history and theory of design.
