Japanese fashion brand A Bathing Ape, which is synonymous with BAPE, was founded in Ura-Harajuku in 1993 by Nigo. The multitalented Nigo, who is also known for his role in the Teriyaki Boyz hip hop group, is known for imbuing his inspiration throughout BAPE designs.
