The BAPE Summer, Training Club Towel White, is a terry cloth towel in White, accented by the registered trademark A Bathing Ape logo in black caps sans serif text. The BAPE ape head logo appears on the woven label on the top right front corner of the towel. A Bathing Ape, also known as BAPE, is a Japanese streetwear brand founded by artist Nigo in 1993, originating from Ura-Harajuku. The brand is known for its numerous stores in Japan, many of which are highly conceptual or art-focused. The nomenclature was inspired by the film Planet of the Apes, and many BAPE pieces feature the brand's signature ape head logo, also inspired by the film. In our opinion, the best feature of the Training Club Towel is its stark graphics, which veer from typical beach or gym towels. The BAPE Summer Training Club Towel in White was released in Spring / Summer 2021 and retailed for $200.
