The product of an experiment by designer Marc Newson to push wood to its limits, 'Wooden Chair' is a contemporary seat that tests the potential of wood as a material while maintaining maximum levels of warmth, cosiness and comfort. Crafted from oiled natural solid ash wood, 'Wooden Chair' is defined by a series of beech wood planks that are bent with hot steam to create a double curve, in an almost organic shape that defies logic but ensures optimum comfort.
