Alessandro Mendini's 1978 'Proust' armchair is a design icon. Originally created for the “Incontri ravvicinati di architettura” exhibition at the Palazzo dei Diamanti in Ferrara, the chair has garnered the praise and attention of international design afficionados in the decades since its conception. This new edition of the chair features the same hand-carved and hand-painted wood frame with the addition of a fixed cover made from multicoloured fabric.
