Since its birth in 1983, G-SHOCK has pursued toughness, and in 2023, it celebrates its 40th anniversary with the limited edition model “G-SHOCK 40th Anniversary Clear Remix” series. By reimagining popular G-SHOCK models and using clear parts, it expresses a transparency never seen before. The base designs include the classic digital DWE-5600, the original DW-5000, the front-button DW-6900, and pairs like the GA-110 and GMA-S110, as well as the GA-2100 and GMA-S2100. Each model features bands, cases, dials, LCDs, and buttons made from skeleton materials. The circuit boards of the digital models have special patterns, including the G mark, to commemorate the 40th anniversary. Additionally, the DWE-5640RX symbolizes G-SHOCK’s material evolution with a band design that fuses resin and metal. The skeleton case uses transparent glass fiber diamide for the first time.
