Brand new 1/18 scale diecast car model of 1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS Baldwin Motion Joel Rosen "Motion Supercar Club" White with Black Vinyl Top and Graphics die cast model car by Auto World. Limited edition. Brand new box. Real rubber tires. True-to-scale detail. Has steerable wheels. Officially licensed product. Has opening hood, doors and trunk. Manufacturer's original unopened packaging. Made of diecast metal with some plastic parts. Detailed interior, exterior, engine compartment. Dimensions approximately L-10, W-4, H-3 inches. Joel Rosen, owner and founder of the famed Motion Performance, in efforts to campaign and get exposure for Baldwin Chevrolet, Motion Supercar Club, and CARS Magazine, entered into the 1967 AHRA Nationals. Unexpectedly, one week before the big day, the Camaro's L-88 self-destructed during a test run. There was very little time to source a replacement engine. Rosen reached out to Baldwin's John Mahler who supplied a new 427/425 crate motor originally destined for a showroom street car. After installing, tuning and breaking it in, this Camaro was the first car Rosen raced repping these powerhouse names in supercar lore. As a result of setting two national records, he accomplished what he set out to do-launching Baldwin-Motion's SS 427 Camaro program and bringing more traffic into Baldwin Chevrolet and Motion Performance.
