What it is: A fragrant, elegant candle scented with the fruity fragrance of fig. What it does: Figuier Scented Candle intensifies the qualities of the fig tree: the warmth of the bark, the freshness of the leaves and the milky sap of its fruit. Inspired by the woody scent of fig trees stretching endlessly across a Mediterranean landscape. The sun is at its peak and the warm wind carries with it the intense fragrance of the trees mingled with the green, delicately fruity accents of a handful of figs on the cusp of ripening. The iconic oval label is deeply rooted in diptyque’s story. The thread of inspiration runs from ancient Rome to the fabric designs created during the early days of the diptyque adventure. Style: Fruity. How to use: The first time you burn your diptyque candle, allow it to burn for at least two hours until the whole top is liquid with wax to help it burn more evenly next time. Before lighting, trim the wick to 1/4-inch length, which will allow the candle to burn slowly and will help avoid black marks around the edge of the glass. After blowing out the candle, recenter and straighten the wick.
