This year’s decorations, meticulously designed by our very own Dan Dower, symbolise the essence of peace and the joy of the holiday season. Each comes in a striking mix of gilded and silver-plated pewter making them a unique and elegant addition to your decor. The 'Peace Dove' is one of four new designs and features a white dove that is suspended within an ornate golden wreath, crafted from the symbolic olive branch. The decoration is engraved with “2024” on the reverse making it perfect for collectors. Our handcrafted decorations will not only look good on your tree, but will also make a great house charm for the rest of the year. Each year Dan produces a new design so why not start your own collection to adorn your Christmas tree or home. A great advantage of pewter is that it actually needs very little looking after. In daily use, pewter was kept bright and polished. Pewter does not tarnish like silver, so a periodic clean with an all-purpose metal (not silver) polish will keep it looking bright. Washing with hot, soapy water will often remove a surprising amount of dirt and tarnish and should always be the first step.
