Part of a series of glass objects created for Driade by the late Czech 'poet of design' Bořek Šípek, the sensual form of these exquisite flutes is defined by a rare horizontal symmetry. The conical flute of the drinking glass is inverted to form the stem and base. The piece is covered all over in rings of golden orange glass. 'Bing', with its dual-textured surface and influences from the bohemian baroque, is a captivating addition to tables, and an essential item for collectors. Glasses can be mixed and matched with other multicolor pieces by Šípek for the Italian design house.
