Alexandra Grounds is a 24-year-old artist based in New York City who specializes in large scale oil paintings. She loves color and tries to bring as much of it to the world as possible through her artwork.   The mentorship she received in high school played a pivotal role in shaping her journey to becoming a professional artist, and she is driven to pay forward that life-changing experience to others.  The invaluable guidance offered by an artist who dedicated their time to revealing the true potential of art as a legitimate profession opened her eyes to a world of possibilities and transformed her life completely.  To pay it forward,  Alexandra chose to donate the proceeds from her scarf to FREE ARTS NYC.    About Free Arts NYC   This organization  empowers youth from underserved communities through art and mentoring programs to develop their creativity, confidence, and skills to succeed.   This scarf is printed in a limited, numbered edition of 100. $100 from each sale of this scarf from September 27, 2023 to September 27, 2025 will be donated to Free Arts NYC. There will be a maximum donation of $10,000.
