This design began with a carved stone detail I found in a book by Émile Prisse d’Avennes, the 19th-century archaeologist who spent years preserving ancient Egyptian art. I am fascinated by carved designs and symmetry, so with the help of Sara in Como, we reworked it for printing on silk. I think of this as a small tribute to craftsmanship that’s lasted centuries. You can wear it with a jacket, or not. It carries itself either way. This design is exclusive to us. Limited edition. No shortcuts, ever. The classic neckerchief size: Approx. 27" x 27". It is a comfortably large size that fits most men, unlike smaller bandanas. Hand-rolled hems: For the ultimate in luxury and sophistication, the hems are hand-rolled and sewn. 100% silk twill: A soft, silky fabric traditionally used in men's tailoring for its look and its drape.
