We engineered this updated Resort Newport Chaise to stand the test of time - and comfort. First, we considered proportion, making this chaise a roomy 81" long x 32" wide. Then, we used only the best-quality components that would withstand weather and use. The frame is made of high-quality teak that has been kiln-dried to eliminate expansion and shrinkage, and is given a hand-applied Weathered finish. The seamless, premium-quality mesh sling is supportive yet giving, and allows air to circulate to keep you cool.Part of the Resort Newport Collection. Updated for 2024. Contract-grade. Hand-built from sustainably harvested, high-quality teak that is naturally resistant to mildew, so it holds up to rain and humidity. Durable teak frame is kiln dried to remove moisture, guarding against warping and cracking, and sanded by hand so its smooth to the touch. Over time, teak will develop a natural silver patina if left untreated. To avoid staining, do not place new Weathered Teak items on porous stone surface until after at least three rainfalls to account for the release of natural oils.
