A smooth trio, this sculptural expression by Kasper Friis Egelund for Gejst pays homage to the geometry and grandeur of neoclassical architectural forms. The essence of Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana in Rome is captured in microcosm in the 'Arkis' bookend via dramatic columns and arches. The scaling down in size manifests the golden ratio, a mathematical basis for works of art, architecture and music by creators including da Vinci, Le Corbusier, Mondrian and Satie. Introduce the white version of this marble ensemble to your bookshelves for a cool nod to the classical world.
