The Swiss Topaz Heritage Ring is a story of love and resilience. It was first made in communist East Germany during a time when gold was nearly impossible to obtain. Omi Poldi (meaning Grandma Poldi) was so determined to have this ring that she had it crafted from her own gold tooth fillings. Omi Poldi wore it for many years before passing it to her daughter, who treasured and wore it for decades before bequeathing it to our friend Nicole – three generations of women, one extraordinary ring. The exquisite stone in this ring, is a large and incredibly vibrant Swiss blue topaz, surrounded by a triple rim of gold wire and held securely by three decorative claws on either side. Care should be taken not to knock or drop the ring as the stone may be damaged. To clean wash gently in warm soapy water and pat dry. The gold may be gently buffed up using a silver polishing cloth. Do not get near perfume, hand lotion or other household products. Remove before washing.
