Harrods' cashmere yarn travels a great distance before reaching the Terracotta Palace - but for an important reason. The wool used to craft this beanie, for example, is sourced all the way from the Gobi desert, shorn from goats that are raised by specialist nomadic herders. It's then brought to the banks of Loch Leven in Scotland and spun a Hawick factory, known as 'the home of cashmere', before finding its forever home in you.
