Produced by Danish brand Hay, the 'Nelson Saucer Bubble' pendant is a simple and elegant light source suited to both public and private spaces. The vision of designer George Nelson (1908-1986), the light is taken from the American's wider 'Bubble Lamp' collection, which was created in 1952 and inspired by a set of hanging silk covered Swedish lamps encountered by the designer. Affixed to the ceiling with a steel plate and featuring a series of vertical lines along its body, this large version of the wide white pendant light is smooth juxtaposition of soft and hard, and offers a warm diffused light from overhead.
