For the first time, Alessandra Baldereschi's glassware collections for Ichendorf Milano usher in a new technology. Where previous designs saw elements applied to individual pieces, the 'Vegetables' series sees objects shaped and adorned as one continuous organic form — case in point, this eggplant-shaped bottle that appears as a bottle, while at the same time presenting as an internal subject in another oil bottle. Crafted from handmade and flame-worked borosilicate glass, the pale lilac bottle additionally makes for a beautiful countertop accessory.
