Designed by Mario Trimarchi for Ichendorf Milano, this set of six fluted glasses is taken from a collection of glassware that incorporates an abstract interpretation of amaranth plants. These take shape as a series of clear angular stems, with branches that climb and diverge, and simultaneously offer fingers a number of comfortable nooks in which to rest. Atop each stem rests a slim handmade and flame-worked borosilicate glass bowl. Defined by a ridged linear surface, each clear flute offers a unique fragmentation of light for a beautiful display whether filled or left empty.
