Inspired by traditional Japanese wood-framed washi paper lamps, Denis Guidone's 'Andon' collection observes a similar regard for portability, transparency and simplicity. Produced by Ichendorf Milano, this version of the lamp is constructed from clear blown glass and is topped with a gold colored aluminum handle — together the clarity of these elements offer a contemporary take on a traditional design, which can be applied to a variety of indoor and outdoor environments, thanks to its lack of wiring and easy transportability.
