Designed by Joe Colombo in 1965 and now manufactured by Karakter, the 'Domo Table Lamp' is one of three pieces based on a simple core shape created by the Italian designer. Working to a philosophy of democratic and functional design, Colombo's creations are 'machines for living', with many — including 'Domo' — achieving iconic status. All parts of the brass lamp have a clear lacquer and, true to Colombo's aversion to sharp corners and straight lines, are shaped into soft curvaceous forms.
