About the designer: Japan Native, Takada Kenzo developed a love for fashion at a young age which lead him to attend Tokyo?s Bunka Fashion College as one of the first male students. In 1964, Kenzo moved to Paris where he polished his designing skills and eventually opened up his first boutique in 1970. After being featured in American Vogue in 1971, Kenzo caught the attention of the public and was acclaimed as the next development in the Paris fashion scene. The KENZO vision is to create a colorful multicultural world that is classic and contemporary with the respect for heritage. Since his retirement in 1999, Kenzo joined the LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton company and launched a skincare, fragrance and clothing line that is sold internationally.
