Created in collaboration with surrealist artist Beto Val, the 'Birdbloom' decorative plate by La DoubleJ encapsulates the maximalist style of the Milanese brand. Handpainted on ivory porcelain, the design incorporates tropical birds and flowers into a fantastic composition. Tones of pink and red dominate in a dreamlike scene where birds are also flowers, and flowers are birds. Orange birds-of-paradise flowers are given real wings, while in the foreground peonies erupt into a flamingo and a curlew. Green leaves encircle the piece, which is edged with gilt dot detailing. The plate can be displayed alongside other pieces from the 'Fantastic Creatures' collection. Dishwasher safe.
