Handmade in Lee Renee's Hatton Garden studio (London's famous jewellery quarter) from recycled sterling silver, which is then heavily overlaid with18ct gold vermeil. Lee tried to capture their beautiful iridescent feathers and interesting plumage in the metal with intricate carving details, so they really sparkle and shine. Pigeon is soldered onto a secure pin and comes with a simple lapel pin back to keep it in place – looks very stylish and can be worn on lapel, tie or as a brooch on a coat or hat. Pigeons really represent London wildlife, as they are streetwise (survivors), loyal and loving (mate for life) and clever (amazing memory and self-awareness skills).
