Triton was a fish-tailed sea-god, the son and herald of Poseidon. He had a conch shell which he used as a trumpet in order to tame the waves to his volition. One of a kind and handmade bronze ring with a signet made out of Tahiti shell. As each shell is different in color and pattern, each ring will have its own unique signet. The ring has been polished which gives the bronze a soft glow. All pieces are made and finished by myself, Detlef, in Amsterdam. This ensures the highest quality and makes every piece unique. Our jewelry is handmade in our Atelier in Amsterdam with care, so please be gentle. The Mother of Pearl signets are sustainably sourced, and unique in its kind. This means that every ring is a one of kind. For this ring we use Brass which is a beautiful material which matches the elegant glow of the Tahiti pearl perfectly. Brass does not fade over time like gold plated products will do, especially with rings. So this is a very conscious decision. Wiping the jewelry gently with a soft cloth to remove any dirt and oils after each wear will help to protect and prolong the look. It is advisable not to wear the jewelry into a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna/steam room; or whilst exercising, bathing, showering or doing heavy duty tasks. If a piece is exposed to water, then dry it gently & thoroughly with a soft cloth as moisture can cause tarnishing.
