Traditional simple Japanese dolls are reinterpreted in this version of cordless lamps. Originally from the region of Tohoku, in the north of Japan, today these traditional dolls have replaced carved wood for handcrafted porcelain to become functional, decorative lighting.

Originating from the Tohoku region of Japan, Kokeshi dolls are traditionally crafted in simple shapes with no arms or legs. It's the recognisable silhouette of the toy that inspires this lamp from Lladró - which sees the usual carved wood swapped out for the label's signature glazed porcelain.
