The Parfums de Voyage collection is a passport of aromatic expressions created from natural oils and essences, blended, and poured by hand into bisque porcelain vessels glow as the candle burns down. Bespoke home fragrance takes us on a perfumed Odyssey, inviting us to explore the world. A graphic number references a place, a year, an atmosphere as a muse for olfactory creations: the scent of a Russian tea, the spices of an oriental bazaar, the memory of a woman in Paris in 1969...Each scent captures an unexpected moment of a journey and recalls the magic of losing oneself in adventure. "It was the winter of 1975 when Philippe received the invitation to view a privately held collection of antiquities. Traveling by train for two days, he arrived in the study of a mansion on St. Petersburg's Griboyedov Canal. Settling into a Louis XIV bergère beside the fireplace, he was enveloped by the scents of leatherbound books, the crackling fire, and the steam of black tea from a spectacular samovar. Mischa appeared in the doorway. "Tea first?" Then, in regard to Philippe's obvious obsession with the samovar, "Tombak bronze, circa 1775."
