About the designer: Missoni has grown from a tiny Italian workshop into a worldwide luxury brand that is still family-owned and operated. Founded in 1953 by then newlyweds Ottavio and Rosita Missoni, the first official Missoni collection wasn't presented until 1958 when the couple took their line to Milan. Since its first viewing, the line has garnered much attention and editorial praise for the use of varied colors, abstract patterns, and mix of geometric and stripe prints.
