Made from sustainable, vegetable tanned leather from Italy, with solid brass hardware. Vegetable tanned leather will age with grace, and develop a patina as it is used. This is a natural material so your bag may have a varied texture. Some colours may transfer if worn against light clothing. Solid brass will oxidise slowly over time, but can be brought back to a shiny finish with a brass cleaner and soft cloth. Take care not to spill the cleaner on the leather as it may stain. We provide a complimentary water repellent leather cleaning balm with all our bags, which cleans and replenishes the original softness and handle of the leather whilst providing a degree of water resistance. Made from a blend of natural waxes, oils & lanolin, this special sap helps protect our bags against daily rigours and the harsh elements. A little goes a long way so only put a small amount on a soft lint-free cloth and apply in a circular motion. Leave to soak in for a few minutes then gently buff the excess off with a clean cloth. Always avoid getting leather wet, but if you do get caught in the rain allow your bag to dry naturally in a cool, airy environment, not on a radiator. When completely dry, apply the leather balm following the instructions to restore suppleness.
