The Nike Air Max 97 South Beach Sneakers in White/Pink Blast/Kinetic Green is a version of the running shoes originally released in 1997 designed by Christian Tresser. The design was inspired by high-speed bullet trains in Japan. This version of the Nike Air Max 97 for grade-schoolers is constructed with a soft textile upper in Kinetic Green, overlaid with white and one strip of Pink Blast synthetic leather. The overlays create a wave shape across the entire shoe, giving it a streamlined look. The Nike Swoosh appears in Pink Blast underneath the wave on the midsole, and the outsole is a transparent Air unit. What we like the most about this shoe is the beachy color scheme combined with the low profile and crisscrossed laces. These two elements succeed in exuding South Beach vibes.
