Nike continues its efforts toward sustainable design with the Men's Nike Space Hippie 03 Sneakers in Grey/Healing Jade. This model is made of 45% recycled material by weight, proving that trash can be transformed into innovative footwear. The upper of the Men's Nike Space Hippie 03 Sneakers in Grey/Healing Jade is constructed with Wolf Grey "Space Waste Yarn" - which is a textile made of 85% recycled polyester and plastic from bottles, t-shirts, and yarn scraps. Instead of a traditional lacing system, the design uses a surplus FastFit tightening system for easy access. Hits of Volt are present on a textile fastening strap that crosses the forefoot, as well as on the heel and medial ankle. Light Blue pull tabs are stitched to the upper along the forefoot and heel, both featuring Nike branding. A Healing Jade Crater Foam sole made from Nike Grind (a blend of recycled foams) completes the design.
